Managing claims
If a worker is injured on the job, the worker, the employer, and the worker's physician must report the injury to WorkSafeBC. A claim will be started when we receive one of these reports.
The claims process can be complex — to help understand it, see how a claim is processed and how to view claim information.
Workers and employers who disagree with a claim decision:
- have the right to request a review and appeal
- can make a request for claim file disclosure
