Newly revised British Columbia Blasters’ Handbook now available
The handbook will help prepare prospective blasters to become certified for blasting work. It can also be used as a reference guide for certified blasters who already work in the field.
The British Columbia Blasters’ Handbook has been updated, with much of it rewritten, to reflect significant changes to Part 21, Blasting Operations, of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and align with current practices in the blasting industry. With consultation and support from a number of agencies dedicated to the blasting industry, the handbook was expanded to reflect in-depth, industry-accepted blasting procedures and methods.
Blasters who want to become certified or renew their blasting certificates can use this handbook as a study guide for the blasting exam. Print copies are also available to order from the WorkSafeBC Bookstore.
